A Gym, equipped with a cybex machine, pilates balls, mini trampolines

the day for house guests. Meditation, Yoga and Movement sessions
are scheduled throughout the day, allowing all guests to participate
at their convenience. Participation in the Daily Activities is encouraged
to support the achievement of your personal health goals. Private

Building great Abs and a well defined six pack is actually the result of exercising two targeted areas of the abdominal muscle mass; the lower abdominals and upper abdominals. On average, one wouldn't begin to build Abs with a ten percent or more fat density but average applies to weight resistance building of the Abs.

CIRCUIT TRAINING
Training technique that involves moving from one exercise to another, each exercise working a different muscle group until each muscle has been worked. It can include strength training stations, cardio stations or a mixture of the two. The purpose is to keep the heart rate elevated, although many experts feel that, with circuit training, you're actually getting the worst of both worlds since you're splitting your energies between cardio and strength. It can be a good workout but, like any training method, should be changed every 4-6 weeks to avoid boredom and plateaus.

Learn to move your hips gracefully to the melodic sounds of Hawaiian music and “shake” rhythmically to the drumbeats of Tahiti. Learn to move your hands to tell the story behind the Hawaiian lyrics and to express your own sensuality as you dance the ote'a (traditional dance from Tahiti). Let your breath move the spirit within to embrace the beauty of your whole being. Anna and Eleanor will then teach you the basic footwork, hand motions, and “eha” (breath) in order to tell the story and the essence of a song.
You will learn a hapa haole hula song and will end the class with a review of the basic Tahitian steps. Be prepared to sweat.

LADY NIGUMA’S YOGA SERIES

JIVAMUKTI SPIRITUAL WARRIOR
This is a brisk, guided, led vinyasa class in which the teacher calls out the asanas and provides the breath count, but gives minimal instruction as to how to do the various asanas. The class offers a well-rounded practice as a set sequence that includes a warm-up, the setting of an elevated intention, chanting, surya namaskar, standing asanas, twists, balances, forward bending, backward bending and inversions, as well as relaxation and meditation, and is designed to be completed in one hour. Thus, it is suitable for those who have limited time to devote to a yoga practice, for those who are looking for a workout to "shape up" physically, and for those who are looking to include a robust asana practice in a manageable daily routine.

YIN YOGA

This practice increases flexibility, especially in the spine and hips and is very restorative and rehabilitative for the joints and muscles.
